2025 GOLDEN GLOVES TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The Pennsylvania Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament official weigh-in and registration will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at North Way Christian Community Church, 12121 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA. (More details below).

Participants are required to be in-person for weigh-ins and registration.

Boxes and coaches will be required to sign at registration in order to participate.

Weigh-Ins

Important Notices

All boxers must attend in person. No online registrations will be accepted.
Registration Fee: $15.00 (cash only).
Boxers will be bracketed into the weight class they weigh on January 25. No exceptions.
If a boxer cannot attend, their coach must contact me before weigh-ins to make alternate arrangements.
No registrations or weights will be accepted after 1:00 PM on January 25.
Dan Mullarkey, the President of Pennsylvania Golden Gloves, will be present during weigh-ins. Brackets will be finalized immediately after 1:00 PM, and all boxers will know their weight class before leaving.

Weight Classes

Pee Wee, Bantam, and Intermediate Divisions

Will compete under USA Boxing weight classes.
No sub-novice or novice brackets are available for these divisions.
A one-pound allowance will be given.

Junior, Youth, and Elite Divisions

Will compete under Golden Gloves weight classes:
- Males: 110, 121, 132, 143, 154, 165, 176, 187, 198, 198+
- Females: 106, 112, 119, 125, 132, 143, 154, 165, 176, 176+
These divisions will include sub-novice (0-3 fights), novice (4-9 fights), and elite (10+ fights) brackets.
No weight allowance is permitted. Boxers must be on weight. Overweight boxers will be disqualified.

Code of Conduct

All boxers and coaches will sign a code of conduct. Please remember that USA Boxing’s code of conduct applies to everyone.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

The tournament schedule is subject to change based on venue availability and weather conditions. The tentative dates and venues are as follows:

February 14, 2025– North Way Christian Community Church, 5:00 PM weigh-ins, 7:00 PM first bell.
February 21, 2025– North Way Christian Community Church, 5:00 PM weigh-ins, 7:00 PM first bell.
March 1, 2025– Steamfitters Event Center, 10:30 AM weigh-ins, 1:00 PM first bell.
March 22, 2025– Steamfitters Event Center, 10:30 AM weigh-ins, 1:00 PM first bell.
April 12, 2025– Teamsters Local 249, 11:00 AM weigh-ins, 1:00 PM first bell.
